This film was produced by the U.S. Department of Labor in 1938 and features an introduction by then Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins. This short black and white film presents the causes of silicosis and explains how the disease can be prevented. "Stop Silicosis" was shown as part of a Federal silicosis-prevention campaign that was initiated by Secretary Perkins.
